Administrative Assistant

Seeking an energetic, well organized assistant with knowledge of Excel, Word, QuickBooks, and progress billing utilizing forms G702/G703. This position would include fielding calls and providing support to the Office and Project Managers. Construction experience required.

 

Sales Representative

Seeking a sales representative that would sell full complement of products that are offered by the company.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Sells full complement of products that are offered by the company.
  • Develops and maintains a follow-up plan that includes firm bids and budget proposals.
  • Understands how the systems function and has the ability to explain the same to customers.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs and competition.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and tasks as needed.
  • Develops and implements field sales action plans.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Ability to travel, (sometimes on short notice), attend trade shows and promote United Skys.

Skills/Qualifications:

Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiating and Closing, Selling to Customer Needs, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge.

Requirements:

Associate degree in a technical discipline (i.e. architecture or engineering), or equivalent experience or two to four years experience in technical sales. Experience in custom architectural and/or construction products is preferable, particularly in skylighting and polycarbonate products. Comprehensive knowledge of contract specifications and construction practices is also a plus.
